Marketing résumé: showing results, not activity
Last updated 9 October 2026
Short answer. A marketing résumé should show each campaign's goal, channel, budget where relevant, and result. Replace activity words like "managed social media" with outcomes such as leads, sign-ups, revenue or lower acquisition cost.
Bullets that work
- "Ran paid search for the spring launch on a €20k budget; sign-ups above target."
- "Rebuilt the email onboarding sequence; more trial users converted to paid."
- "Wrote 30 help articles that now bring in a steady share of organic sign-ups."
Tools
Name the analytics, ads, email and content tools you have run campaigns in.
Portfolio
Two or three campaign summaries with goal, approach and result.
