Customer Service Representative résumé example for 2026

Customer service is one of the most competitive queues, and almost every résumé in it says the same three things. This example uses the numbers the job already generates: volume, CSAT, resolution time.

What a customer service representative résumé has to show

  1. Ticket or call volume per day — the fastest measure of pace
  2. CSAT, NPS or QA score with the period it covers
  3. The helpdesk named (Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, Intercom)
  4. Languages, with level — often the deciding factor in European roles

Bullets you can adapt

Every one names a system or a surface, a change, and a number. Take the shape, not the figures — substitute your own and keep them defensible.

  • Handled 70–90 tickets per day across email and live chat while holding CSAT at 4.7/5
  • Cut first-response time from 6 hours to 45 minutes by rebuilding the macro library
  • Resolved 82% of contacts without escalation, against a team average of 68%
  • Wrote 40 help-centre articles that reduced repeat contacts on billing by a third
  • Onboarded and coached 6 new agents; all reached full ticket load two weeks early
  • Covered German and English queues and held the DACH escalation rota 1 week in 4, across a 12-person team

And the ones to cut

These are duties and adjectives. They describe a job title, not a person doing it.

  • Provided excellent customer service to clients
  • Answered incoming calls and resolved customer issues
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Customer Service Representative résumé questions

I have no numbers — my employer never shared them. What do I put?

You can count things yourself: tickets per day, languages covered, shifts on rota, agents trained. Estimate only what you could defend, and say "about" if it is an estimate.

Does customer service experience transfer to other roles?

Strongly, if you translate it. Volume becomes throughput, CSAT becomes quality, escalations become judgement. Keep the numbers and change the nouns.

One page or two?

One. For support roles the screen is fast and volume is high; a second page is rarely read.
