Marketing Manager résumé example for 2026
Marketing résumés drown in adjectives. This example replaces them with budget, channel and the number the channel returned — the three things a hiring manager actually needs to size you.

What a marketing manager résumé has to show
- Budget owned, in currency — it is the fastest proxy for scope
- Channels named specifically, not "digital marketing"
- CAC, ROAS, pipeline or revenue attached to campaigns
- Team size and whether you managed people or agencies
Bullets you can adapt
Every one names a system or a surface, a change, and a number. Take the shape, not the figures — substitute your own and keep them defensible.
- Owned a €1.2M annual budget across paid search, paid social and content; cut blended CAC 24%
- Grew organic sessions from 40k to 190k per month in 14 months by rebuilding 300 pages around search intent
- Launched the lifecycle programme that added €640k of expansion revenue in its first year
- Took ROAS on paid social from 1.8 to 3.1 by killing four audiences and rebuilding creative testing
- Managed a team of 5 plus two agencies across DACH and Nordics
- Repositioned the mid-tier plan; trial-to-paid rose from 9% to 16% with no price change
And the ones to cut
These are duties and adjectives. They describe a job title, not a person doing it.
- Developed and executed marketing strategies across multiple channels
- Managed social media presence and increased brand awareness
- Creative marketer with a passion for storytelling

Marketing Manager résumé questions
What if I cannot share exact revenue figures?
Use percentages and ratios. "Cut blended CAC 24%" carries the same weight as an absolute and breaches nothing. Never invent a figure you would not repeat in an interview.
Should I list every tool?
List the ones a job description names — HubSpot, GA4, Salesforce — and drop the rest. Tool lists are keyword matching, and past about ten they stop adding signal.
Brand or performance — which should I lead with?
Whichever the role is. Read the posting's first three responsibilities and mirror that emphasis in your summary; keep the other as evidence of range.
