Warehouse Associate résumé example for 2026

Warehouse hiring runs on rate and accuracy. Put picks per hour, error rate, equipment licences and shift pattern near the top, because a shift manager is comparing you against a productivity target, not a personality description.

What a warehouse associate résumé has to show

  1. Pick or pack rate per hour and accuracy percentage
  2. Equipment certifications: forklift, reach truck, pallet truck
  3. Shift patterns worked, including nights or weekends
  4. WMS or scanner system used by name

Bullets you can adapt

Every one names a system or a surface, a change, and a number. Take the shape, not the figures — substitute your own and keep them defensible.

  • Picked an average of 148 lines an hour against a site target of 120, at 99.7% accuracy
  • Packed and dispatched up to 340 parcels a shift during peak weeks without a missed cut-off
  • Operated a counterbalance forklift for 3 years across 12-hour shifts with no reportable incidents
  • Completed cycle counts on 600 SKUs a month and closed a stock discrepancy worth €18k
  • Unloaded and checked 20 to 25 containers a week in goods in, logging discrepancies within the same shift
  • Trained 7 seasonal starters on RF scanner use, all reaching full rate within 10 working days
  • Kept a personal returns processing rate of 90 units an hour against a team average of 65

And the ones to cut

These are duties and adjectives. They describe a job title, not a person doing it.

  • Responsible for picking and packing customer orders
  • Hard-working and reliable with a can-do attitude
  • Assisted with general warehouse duties as needed

Warehouse Associate résumé questions

Do I need to list my pick rate?

Yes, and against the site target so it can be read. A rate of 148 lines an hour means nothing on its own, but 148 against a 120 target is the single most persuasive line on a warehouse CV. Add the accuracy figure in the same sentence.

Where do forklift licences go?

In a short certifications block near the top, with the truck type and expiry year. Many warehouse vacancies are effectively licence-gated, so a reach truck or counterbalance certificate buried at the bottom of page two costs interviews. State the categories exactly as they appear on the card.

How do I apply with no warehouse experience?

Lead with anything physical, timed or accuracy-driven: kitchen work, delivery, stock rooms, agricultural work. Then state plainly which shifts you can work, since availability for nights and weekends is often the deciding factor for entry-level hiring.
